ENFORCEMENT DECREE OF THE MILITARY TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT

The purpose of this Decree is to provide for matters delegated by the Military Telecommunications Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Act") and matters necessary for the enforcement thereof.
| Article 2 (Hours When Entrances Are Permitted) |
Hours, when anyone may enter others’ houses in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 (1) of the Act, shall be from sunrise to sunset except in cases where urgent circumstances exist.
| Article 3 (Advance Notices) |
Notices of entrances or use, under the provisions of the proviso to Article 6 (1) of the Act and Article 7 (2) of the Act, shall have arrived at three days before such entrances or use is to be made except in cases where any unavoidable reason exists.
| Article 4 (Categories of Structures, etc. Subject to Consultation) |
If structures, buried objects, apparatuses, bamboos, trees, or other plants (hereinafter referred to as "structures, etc.") are removed in accordance with the provisions of Article 8 (2) of the Act, categories of structures, etc., which require consultation with the heads of relevant central administrative organs and the Special Metropolitan City Mayor, Metropolitan City Mayors or Do governors (hereinafter referred to as the "Mayor/Do governor"), shall be as follows:
<Amended by Presidential Decree No. 16627, Dec. 28, 1999> | 1. | Designated cultural properties and their projected objects, or the structures, etc. in protection zones as prescribed under the provisions of the Cultural Heritage Protection Act; |
| 2. | Structures, etc. installed by the heads of central administrative organs or Mayors/Do governors; and |
| 3. | Other projected objects or trees, and the structures, etc. in protection zones which the Mayors/Do governors consider to be worth protecting. |
| Article 5 (Public Notifications of Removal of Structures, etc.) |
The public notifications, under the provisions of Article 8 (3) of the Act, shall be issued in bulletin boards of the office of Eup/Myeon/Dong which exercises jurisdiction over areas in which the said structures, etc. are located.

| Article 15 (Sign of Zones and Preparation of Plans) |
| (1) | In zones of underwater military communications lines, the sign to indicate the zones and the lines shall be posted. |
| (2) | The Minister of National Defense shall prepare plans of the zones referred to in paragraph (1) in the Si/Gun/Gu (limited to autonomous Gu) which exercises jurisdiction over such zones, to make interested parties peruse them. |

This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its promulgation.
