| Article 1 (Designation of National Holidays) |
National holidays shall be determined to commemorate the memorable days of the Nation.

| Article 2 (Types of National Holidays) |
The national holidays shall be as follows:
| 1. | Independence Movement day (March 1); |
| 2. | Constitution day (July 17); |
| 3. | National Liberation day (August 15); |
| 4. | National Foundation day of Korea (October 3); |
| 5. | Hangul Proclamation day (October 9). |
