This Act shall enter into force on the date of its promulgation: Provided, That among 275 prosecutors calculated by adding 135 prosecutors to be newly introduced under this Act to 140 prosecutors who have yet to be appointed among 220 prosecutors augmented pursuant to the partial amendment (Act No. 7733) to the Act on the Prescribed Number of Prosecutors as at the time this Act enters into force, 85 shall be appointed from January 1, 2008, 95 from January 1, 2009, and the remaining 95 from January 1, 2010.
ADDENDUM <Act No. 12952, Dec. 31, 2014>
This Act shall enter into force on the date of its promulgation: Provided, That among the 350 prosecutors that are increased under this Act, 90 out of the increased number shall be effective from January 1, 2015; 80, from January 1, 2016; 70, from January 1, 2017; 70, from January 1, 2018; and 40, from January 1, 2019.
