ACT ON SPECIAL CASES CONCERNING STAMP AFFIXING OR ATTACHMENT, AND DEPOSIT OFFERING

 Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of this Act is to provide for special cases to be exempt from the affixing or attachment of stamps and the offering of deposits in lawsuits and administrative lawsuits to which the State is a party, notwithstanding the Civil Procedure Act and the Act on the Stamps Attached for Civil Litigation, etc. <Amended by Act No. 11551, Dec. 18, 2012>

 Article 2 (Exemption from Affixing or Attachment of Stamps)
The State shall be exempt from affixing stamps under the Act on the Stamps Attached for Civil Litigation, etc. in the proceedings of a lawsuit or an administrative lawsuit to which the State is a party.

 Article 3 (Exemption from Providing Deposits)
The State shall be exempt from providing a deposit under the Act on the Stamps Attached for Civil Litigation, etc. in the proceedings of a lawsuit or an administrative lawsuit to which the State is a party.

ADDENDUM
This Act shall enter into force on the date of its promulgation.
This Act shall apply even to cases pending in court as at the time this Act enters into force: Provided, That this Act shall not affect stamps already affixed or deposits already provided.

This Act shall enter into force on January 1, 1998. (Proviso Omitted.)
