| 1. | This Public Notice shall enter into force on the date of public notification. |
| 2. | The terms used in this Public Notices shall be defined in accordance with the definitions in the Act. |
| 3. | As regards 4 of the General Provisions, the amount subject to notice by a payment gateway service provider, etc. shall be at least 30,000 won (including cases where the accumulated amount during not more than one month is at least 30,000 won), in cases of a transaction through a wired or wireless telecommunications terminal (including a transaction with an account accessible to an Internet network), or at least 100,000 won, in cases of a transaction by any other means, but the notice of a payment gateway service provider, etc. shall be deferred for three months after this Public Notice enters into force, taking into consideration the period required for securing means for notification, such as e-mail addresses. |
| 4. | The Guidelines for the Protection of Consumers of Electronic Transactions (Public Notice of the Fair Trade Commission No. 2000-1) are repealed simultaneously when this Public Notice enters into force. |
