CHAPTER Ⅳ INSURANCE BENEFITS

| Article 26 (Health Checkup) |
| (1) | Persons who are capable of undergoing the health checkup under Article 47 (2) of the Act shall be the policyholders of workplaces, locally provided policyholders who are the householders, locally provided policyholders of more than 40 years old, and dependent persons of more than 40 years old. |
| (2) | Health checkup shall be performed more than once in every two years, and it shall be performed once per year for the policyholders of workplaces who are not engaged in the clerical affairs. |
| (3) | Health checkup shall be performed in the medical care institutions which are equipped with the manpower, facilities and instruments, etc. related to medical treatments under the provisions of Appendix 3. |
| (4) | The Corporation shall, in case where it intends to perform a health checkup, notify the matters related to the performance of health checkup to the competent employers in a case of policyholders of workplaces and dependent persons, and to the competent householders in a case of locally provided policyholders. |
| (5) | The employers in receipt of the notice under paragraph (4) shall take necessary measures so as to enable the policyholders and dependent persons undergo the health checkup. |
| (6) | The checkup agency which performs the health checkup shall notify the Corporation of the results of health checkup, and the Corporation shall in turn notify them to the employers or householders. In this case, the checkup agency may directly notify the competent employers with respect to the policyholders of workplaces and dependent persons. |
| (7) | The employers in receipt of the notice under paragraph (6) shall notify it to the policyholders who have undergone the health checkup (in a case of dependent persons, the relevant policyholders). |
| (8) | The checkup items, methods, scopes of health checkups and the expenses required for them shall be set forth and publicly noticed by the Minister of Health and Welfare. |
