| Article 2 (Submission of Budget Request for Contributions) |
Pursuant to Article 12 (2) of the Korea Health Industry Promotion Agency Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Act"), the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute") shall submit to the Minister of Health and Welfare a budget request for contributions for the following year along with the following documents, no later than April 30 each year: <Amended on Feb. 29, 2008, Apr. 30, 2008, Mar. 15, 2010, Jul. 2, 2019> | 1. | A business plan for the following year; |
| 2. | An estimated balance sheet and an estimated income statement for the following year; |
| 3. | Other documents necessary to clarify the budget request for contributions. |
| Article 3 (Notification of Decision on Contribution Budget) |
When the budget for contributions is finalized, the Minister of Health and Welfare shall notify the Institute thereof. <Amended on Feb. 29, 2008; Mar. 15, 2010>
| Article 4 (Application for Payment of Contributions) |
If the Institute intends to receive contributions, it shall submit to the Minister of Health and Welfare an application for payment along with a quarterly execution plan. <Amended on Feb. 29, 2008; Apr. 30, 2008; Mar. 15, 2010>
| Article 5 (Treatment of Surplus) |
When any surplus accrues according to the results of the settlement of accounts of each fiscal year, the Institute shall appropriate it to compensate the losses carried forward, and the remainder thereof shall be carried forward to the following year or transferred to its original property.
| Article 6 (Setting Management Goals and Submission of Management Performance Reports) |
| (1) | The president shall establish medium- and long-term management goals for at least 3 fiscal years, including annual implementation plans and target indicators for each strategic task pursuant to Article 14 (1) of the Act, and submit them to the Minister of Economy and Finance and the Minister of Health and Welfare, after resolution by the board of directors, no later than October 31 each year. <Amended on Mar. 15, 2010> |
| (2) | The president shall submit to the Minister of Economy and Finance and the Minister of Health and Welfare a report on management performance for the previous year, including management performance by quantitative and non-quantitative index, no later than March 20 each year pursuant to Article 14 (2) of the Act. <Amended on Mar. 15, 2010> |

| Article 7 (Submission of Budget and Statement of Accounts) |
Pursuant to Article 14 (3) of the Act, the president shall submit to the Minister of Health and Welfare a budget before the commencement of the following fiscal year and a statement of accounts after resolution by the board of directors within 2 months after the end of the fiscal year; and the statement of accounts shall be accompanied by the following documents, after being audited by a certified public accountant or an accounting firm: <Amended on Mar. 15, 2010> | 1. | Financial statements (including a written audit opinion of a certified public accountant or accounting firm) and documents annexed thereto; |
| 2. | Other documents necessary for clarifying the details of the settlement of accounts. |

ADDENDA <Presidential Decree No. 16105, Feb. 5, 1999>
| (1) | (Enforcement Date) This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its promulgation. |
| (2) | (Transitional Measures concerning Submission of Business Plans and Budgets) Notwithstanding Article 6, the Institute shall submit a business plan and the budget for the first business year that commences after this Decree enters into force to the Minister of Health and Welfare within 30 days from the date the Institute is established. |
