CHAPTER I GENERAL PROVISIONS
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of this Act is to protect consumers and promote the harmonious improvement of the people's living by preventing enterprisers from preparing and circulating standardized contracts containing unfair terms and conditions that constitute abuse of their negotiating position through establishing sound order in business transactions by means of the regulation of standardized contracts containing unfair terms and conditions.
